Our Wedding

We met in early 2016 when Jasmyne started working at Sprint, where Kevin was her boss. He immediately caught her attention, mostly because he rode a motorcycle and maybe a little because she thought she could get away with doing less work. Even though we both went to Mizzou and sometimes tell people that is where we met, the truth is our story started at Sprint. We bonded quickly over our shared love of superheroes and started calling each other our “Marvel Buddies.” We clicked right away and made it official on September 4, 2016, a date Jasmyne never forgets since it is Beyoncé’s birthday. Not long after, we found out we were expecting our son. Before we knew if it was a boy or girl, we called the baby “Raspberry,” and that nickname stuck until we found out we were having a boy. From that moment, our families became blended in the truest sense and have been connected since day one. From there, we somehow ended up working at the same company again, bought our first home in 2019, and later moved from Columbia to St. Charles after buying our second home in 2022. Then on Christmas Day in 2024, after almost a decade together, Kevin asked Jasmyne to marry him. We have taken our time, grown together, and built something that is completely ours, and we would not change a thing.
